Building on the success of the 1st Mountain Green Conference in June 2007, Warren Wilson’s Environmental Leadership Center is offering a series of programs in the coming year to engage the community in a conversation about best practices for developing our mountain region. We invite leaders in the areas of sustainable development and green building to our campus to raise awareness of sustainable development practices. Other opportunities for engagement and learning include regularly scheduled Green Walkabouts© and the 2nd Mountain Green: Sustainable Technology Conference scheduled for June 25, 2008.
"Mountain Green" features speakers that are discussing green building design and issues in the context of responsible decision-making and sustainable development.
This is open to the general public.
