Moonrise in Swannanoa and New Zealand

As an experiment in
Astronomy class, Julia Travis made a succession of photographs snapping
a frame every 15 sec. These pictures were selected to make an
animated image showing the moon rising. Before you view the
animated picture, the reader should predict the path that the moon
follows. The reader should select one of the three diagrams that
the moon will follow when rising:
Elizabeth Wunker traveled to New Zealand during a World Wide trip in
January, 2005, and made a similar series of the rising moon from the
southern hemisphere. In the table below, select the path that you
think the rising moon follows when viewed from the southern hemisphere:
