ART 219 The Language of Photography in the Digital Age 4cr

This course will explore the language of photography and its evolving role as a creative image-making tool in the visual arts. Students will produce several series of images in photographically based media, including digital and film formats, black and white, color, and print or projection output. Emphasis is on image content rather than process. Material covered will support artistic endeavor applicable to other WWC art classes including Photography, Digital Photography, Artists' Books, Printmaking, and Photoshop.
