HIS 236 North Carolina History 4cr

The course will treat North Carolina in the context of the major developments and episodes of American history from the colonial period to the present. Emphasis will be placed on the study of the state's many ethnic cultures, including the English, Scotch-Irish, German, French, African-American, and American Indian.
