This course is designed to examine the principles and practice of leadership in adventure education/recreation programs. Classroom time will be spent on the examination of theories, practices, and problems of leadership in a wilderness environment. The course will provide direct, firsthand experiences where students will be expected to plan and be in a leadership position both in the classroom and out in the field.
Prerequisites:
Any PED Outdoor Recreational Activities course and ODL 210 Wilderness Skills and Techniques, or permission of instructor.
