Taken in conjunction with SWK 430 Field Instruction. Focuses on helping students integrate academic preparation with field performance. Students are required to demonstrate competency in beginning level generalist social work practice through written and oral presentations and group discussions related to the field experience, including practice and ethical considerations, race, class, gender, and sexual orientation issues, research, policy, and problem-solving.
