This course will cover research methods specific to both sociology and anthropology through directed readings, lectures, and projects designed to prepare the student for the applied research undertaken in SOC 410. Focus will be on field research, field notes, methods of ethnographic documenting, in-depth interviewing, content analysis, and questionnaire development.
Prerequisite:
SOC 100 Introduction to Sociology and ANT 200 Introduction to Anthropology.
