This course is a survey course focusing on women's lives and experiences. Students will explore a range of issues common to all women, including reproductive rights, images of women and work, and how these differ by race and class. Theoretical frameworks and methodological approaches to the critical examination of women's realities will be introduced. This course will build a foundation for further courses in the Women's Studies major.
