LAURELS_webOn Monday, October 12, the natural sciences LAURELS (Learning About Undergraduate Research Excellence from Last Summer) poster session will be held from 4-5 p.m. in the Elvis Lounge (2nd floor of Witherspoon).

The LAURELS poster session highlights the immersive scholarly experiences Warren Wilson students engage in to better understand the world around them.

A superb lineup of students will present their research in areas from environmental education in rural Alaska to simulating the movement of nanoparticles in a lab. There will be 10 different student posters at the event. A bake sale, sponsored by the Environmental Peace and Justice Crew, will also be held, with cash donations going to support the Red Cross in their efforts to address the Syrian refugee crisis.
