Congratulations again on your admission to Warren Wilson College!

Now what?

New student orientation will begin on Monday, August 20th for transfers, and Tuesday, August 21st for first year students. More information will be posted soon.

There are many things to consider as you decide whether or not Warren Wilson is right for you. We suggest the following:

Visit: We welcome your visit, anytime. Ideally, you should schedule your visit to be between Monday and Friday so that we can give you a tour of our beautiful campus, invite you to take classes and join in on campus activities and service trips. You will also be able to meet other students and professors, observe work crews in action and stay overnight with a student host, in a dorm room or in our charming guest house (pending availability). Financial Aid: File the FAFSA. Once you have filed and the information has been processed, please log in here to view your financial aid estimate (not including scholarships) or a final award, and see what other verification materials our financial aid office may need. The Financial Aid Office awards need-based aid, which means that it is contingent on the results of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the Warren Wilson College Financial Aid Application (WWCFAA). Your award will consist of the Federal Direct Loan (either Subsidized, Unsubsidized, or a combination of both) and the work earnings (Federal Work-Study, Federal Work College, or Institutional). In addition, depending on need, you may be eligible for WWC institutional need-based grant money, Federal grant funds, or state aid programs.

Scholarships: The deadline for our competitive scholarships (honors, work, service, sustainability, art, creative writing) is March 15th. Apply by logging in here, and don't forget to send or email in the essays and other materials necessary for consideration. For athletic scholarships, please contact the coach directly.

Join us: Become a part of the Warren Wilson College Class of 2016 Class of 2016, get to know the other accepted students and ask questions on Facebook. Who doesn't need more friends?

Talk to a current student: Our admission office has seven students who would love to talk or email with you about their WWC experience. Yes, we pay them, because admission is their work crew, but they will give you their honest opinion and nothing is scripted. Just call 800-934-3536 or email admit@warren-wilson.edu

Have you made your decision about WWC?

Deposit: The deadline is midnight, May 1st. A non-refundable $300 deposit may be made before this date in one of three ways:

1. Online deposit.

2. Send a check in the mail made payable to: Warren Wilson College and send to the Office of Admission, PO Box 9000, Asheville, NC 28815-9000. Please include the green deposit enrollment card that came with your acceptance packet, or, put the student's name in the memo line of the check.

3. Call us at 800-934-3536 or 828-771-5823. We can take your debit, Visa or Mastercard over the phone.

Defer: Ecstatic about your acceptance but determined to take a gap year, work, travel, take classes elsewhere and then transfer in? Please let us know before May 1st and we can defer your admission for another semester or a full year.

Withdraw: Please call 800-934-3536 to discuss or email your counselor. We're sad to see you go, but we do understand. We'd love to know which college you did choose and why, or why not WWC?
