Fences
If Robert Frost is right and "good fences make good neighbors," then Warren Wilson College is about the best darn neighbor in Western North Carolina. The Farm Crew completed about a mile's worth of hand-built, rough-hewn fence using newly milled wood from our own sawmill, and lumber from local mills as well. (Some of the old fence has been remilled for trim in our new Eco Dorm, just in case you were wondering.) The cows are safer, the drive down Warren Wilson Road looks better, and it's just one more proud accomplishment of a bunch of student crew members who call Warren Wilson College workplace, classroom, and home. Way to go Farm Crew.
