Recent Warren Wilson graduate Katie Spotz became the first person to swim the length of the Allegheny River, as a fundraiser for Blue Planet Run Foundation--352 miles from the river's source in north central Pennsylvania to its mouth in Pittsburgh. The foundation provides poor communities access to clean drinking water.

The MFA Program for Writers at WWC has scheduled a series of public readings and lectures Jan. 3-12 on campus.

Headwaters Gathering at WWC to focus on climate change in region

The first Headwaters Gathering is being held March 27-29 on the Warren Wilson campus with a theme of “Southern Appalachia at the Crossroads: A Call to Action.” Online registration is required for all sessions.
