Several years ago our community made a decision to limit pavement on our beautiful campus and implemented a policy that prohibits first year students from parking cars on campus. Many other WWC students also choose not to have a vehicle. Only returning and transfer students are permitted to keep one car, truck, or motorcycle on campus. Parking permits are $50. For day students, parking is free of charge. No vehicle over 8400lbs is permitted on Campus property with exception to visiting buses for athletic events or special tours.
WWC contracts with an outside transportation company to provide Asheville Regional Airport shuttle service to resident students for scheduled returns and departures from campus. Campus returns and departures include summer orientation & start of the academic year, fall break, winter break, spring break and the year-end departure from campus. Announcements for shuttle registration will be sent out one month prior to the campus opening or closing. The deadline date for shuttle registration will be included in the announcement. The shuttle does not run for Thanksgiving weekend. This non-refundable shuttle service is available, for a fee, to currently enrolled students who register in advance for the service. If you have questions, please email email@example.com.
THE FALL BREAK SHUTTLE REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN. The shuttle will run on Friday, October 17th, and Saturday, October 18th before 1:00 pm and Sunday, October 26th after 1:00pm. Please note that you will need to register for both coming and going. The cost is $20 each way. Registration will close October 15th at the end of the day. After registration is closed, the times for the shuttle departure from campus and the shuttle departure from AVL airport to WWC on October 26th will be sent to you. We do our best to consolidate trips so please note that you may have to wait at the airport on October 26th if your flight gets in before 1:00pm. If you have any questions, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call the Student Life office, 828-771-3800.

The City of Asheville operates a bus to and from campus that is FREE to Warren Wilson students with a student ID.
The bus (Route 170) leaves from campus regularly from the front of the College library. Traveling West, the bus goes to the downtown Asheville transit center with several useful stops in between. Both Asheville and Black Mountain are fantastic places to spend an afternoon exploring, and there are several businesses of interest closer to campus. On the Westbound route, the bus follows Tunnel Road into Asheville and has stops convenient to the Asheville Mall, an Ingles grocery store, Rite Aid pharmacy, and the East Asheville library.
The Westbound route has stops convenient to the Amazing Savings discount grocery, Family Dollar, and several other businesses.
