Alba Maria Cuesta Arias is from the Choco region of Colombia. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Displaced Afro Colombians.  Her talk will be informative about the impact of the free trade agreement between the United States and Colombia and about the impact of the US funded 'Plan Colombia'.

This will also be an opportunity to learn about Witness for Peace (witnessforpeace.org).  A member of the Colombia Team of WFP will be traveling with Ms. Arias and translating her talk from Spanish to English as well as answering questions.
