EcoDorm continues to be recognized as a trailblazer among college dorms

The trailblazing EcoDorm also has received extensive coverage from such major news media as The New York Times Sunday Magazine and CNN International (at minute 10:30). The EcoDorm opened in 2003 as a pioneering model of energy-efficient building designs and renewable-energy technologies, is the first building on a college campus to achieve LEED Platinum certification in the Existing Buildings (EB) category.
