PAC Q & A

Have a question of public interest for the president, a vice president or a dean?

PAC Q&A is one way for the community to have access to the president and the President’s Advisory Council (PAC). PAC members, the College’s deans and vice presidents, meet weekly with the president to guide institutional decision-making.

If you have a question of public interest for the president or a PAC member, click the link below. You’ll get an email response within three business days. In addition, your question and answer will be posted on this page for others to see. Keep in mind that there are privacy laws and other state and federal regulations that may render an answer inconclusive. As always, private or personal correspondence should be sent directly to the relevant individual administrator.

The use of this resource, as with all electronic campus resources, follows the WWC computer and network user policy, available here. In particular, the use of electronic mail and other network communications facilities to harass, offend or annoy other users of the network is forbidden.

Tuesday, October 9th 2012

Question: At the end of last year, over the summer and in the last couple of weeks, I’ve had several employees ask me, “Why didn’t the PAC reviews occur at the end of the year (2011-12) as they have in the past?” I figure that if a dozen or so employees have asked me that there [...]

Question: PAC reports via email

Wednesday, September 21st 2011

Question: Thanks for setting up for this system and for the opportunity to ask questions. I often feel like I'm so focused on the day-to-day of my own job that it's easy to lose track of what else is going on the at the College. Richard's regular reports from the Admission and Advancement Office are great and make me feel very informed about what's going on at Orr Cottage. Would it be possible for other PAC members to send out regular reports via email about what their divisions are doing? I think it would help staff and faculty feel less isolated in their own work and more connected to the College as a whole. (Submitted by Sharon Withrow)
