General Information

The Student Health Center is staffed by one full-time registered nurse, one part-time registered nurse, and the Health Center Crew. Medical direction is provided by a licensed MD.

There is no fee for current students to visit the Health Center.

 

We provide a variety of medical services, including but not limited to:

  • Evaluation and treatment of common illnesses
  • STI counseling and referral
  • General health advice
  • Assistance with gender-affirming care
  • Evaluation and treatment of accidental and athletic injuries
  • Minor wound evaluation and treatment
  • Travel abroad physicals
  • Family planning and contraceptive counseling
  • Pregnancy testing and counseling
  • Emergency contraceptives
  • Nutrition and dietary counseling
  • Immunization management to meet college requirements
  • Limited laboratory services (and only by physician’s order)
  • Strep/Mono/Covid/UTI screenings
  • A select inventory of antibiotics and other medications from physician’s standing orders
  • Equipment loans of crutches, braces, slings
  • Transportation to medical/counseling appointments (if student crew available)
