Global Exchange for Sustainability Program (GESP)

The Global Exchange for Sustainability Program developed through a partnership between the Warren Wilson College Departments of The international Program Office and the Environmental Leadership Center. Warren Wilson College recognizes that achieving global sustainability requires identifying the best science-based solutions for addressing community issues. The intent of this program is to further build relationships among students, faculty and staff from a variety of academic institutions around the globe that supports intentional information exchanges that lead to sustainability. Discussions will focus on finding common ground for mutually beneficial and long-term educational, and work and service collaborative projects that will take advantage of expertise and offerings at both institutions.
Faculty may serve as visiting scholars, students may enroll at the partnering institution, and staff may participate in a joint summer collaborative project with the partnering institution. Working in conjunction with the appropriate staff and faculty at each academic institution, the Environmental Leadership Center of Warren Wilson College will administer the logistics and attempt to locate funding for this initiative.
