Icynene® Insulation
What is it?
Icynene® is the leading 100% water-blown foam insulation and air barrier system. It is applied as a liquid and expands to 100 times its volume in seconds to fill every crack and crevice.
Why is it important?
Icynene® creates an envelope around the building for optimal air tightness. It contains no HCFCs, HFAs, HFCs or formaldehyde. It minimizes air leakage for increased energy efficiency and creates a healthier indoor environment by reducing airborne sounds, minimizing the intrusion of outdoor pollen, allergens and pollution from entering the building. Icynene® maintains its performance over time. It does not shrink, sag or settle. Icynene® adheres to most construction materials and is the perfect insulation for walls, attics, ceilings and floors.
