What did folks say about Mountain Green 2008?

Thanks for all your effort to make the conference a success.

I wanted to thank you and your staff for a job well done. I enjoyed my whole
day. The exhibitors and speakers all were great. Every body was friendly and
in command of their area of expertise.  Susan was a home run. She will be
hard to beat next year.  I am looking forward to next year. Best Regards,
Don Duffy, Don Duffy Architecture

Thanks for the great conference!  I am a real estate agent, and I was very interested in all the topics.  Thanks so much for opening our minds and showing us new ways to live. Dawn Wilson

I don't need to tell you how well the conference went, but I do want to
express my satisfaction with everything related to it.    Your efforts to
make this a success for not only Warren Wilson College, but for
Builder/Architect magazine, are greatly appreciated.  I think the merging of
our efforts made for a better conference, and I hope we can continue to do
so in the future. Bravo to you, the steering committee, Phillip Gibson, and
all of the volunteers who helped make this a success.  Best regards, Jim
Joly, Publisher, Builder/Architect Magazine

Congratulations, Bob . . .to you, Philip Gibson and your staffs, plus members of the Steering Committee, for staging a highly successful 2nd Annual Mountain Green Conference at Warren-Wilson College on June 25. The event was well organized, well attended and Sarah Suzanka certainly lived up to her reputation as a 5-star speaker.  Thanks to John Yurko for arranging her appearance - and to the local weatherman for a perfect day.  BUILDER/ARCHITECT is proud to have been a part of the event - and we have some excellent photos of the vendors which will be included in a wrap-up article scheduled for the September/October issue.  It was an outstanding conference!  Thanks again!  Bob Kays, retired Publisher,Builder/Architect Magazine and steering committee member of the MountainGreen conference.

Hi Bob,  On behalf of Kristen, Jack, and myself I want to congratulate you
for orchestrating and conducting a wonderful and beneficial Mountain Green
Conference yesterday at Warren Wilson.   Our thanks also go out to Phillip
and Margo, and everyone else who had a hand in putting this event together.
It was truly refreshing to listen, learn and communicate with some very
interesting people who are dedicated to thoughtful design processes whether
you call them green, sustainable or LEED.  You can already pencil DMR
Architecture in as a sponsor and vendor for next year's shindig.  Robert F.
Moran, NCARB, Executive Principal, DMR Architecture PLLC

Looked like the day was a big success.  Congratulations!  I'm sure that was
an insane amount of work.  Looks like everything worked out well in the end.
Thanks again, David Flood, The Salt Licks bluegrass band

You organized a fantastic show!  Thanks for inviting us to be a part of something so worthwhile. Stephanie Coleman, Manager, Warren Wilson College Campus Store

Congratulations to each of you and the entire team for a fantatstic Mountain Green event yesterday! I came away educated, inspired and exhilarated.  The design of the program, the flow of the day, the opportunity for one-on-one connections with old and new friends, the balance of interaction and education - all was just perfect. Most of all, the example of servant leadership that each of you and all of you offered by your own actions was truly inspiring. Thanks to you all - and to the many others who made it a great day. All the Best - Steve  Cochran, Sustainability Strategies, LLC

THANK YOU for putting on an important, interesting and interactive
conference that will permanently affect lives, communities and states.  I am
resolved to spread the word, plant a garden and save energy. Linda Kay
Nalley, It's Our Water company (vendor)  P.S.  Lunch was
scrumptious--especially the tea!

Thanks again for including me in such a great event. I met some very
cool green folks. Victoria Schomer, ASID, LEED AP, Green Built Environments

Hats off to a good conference last week! I enjoyed participating. The
lunch was quite tasty and there was a good spread of vendors. Also, the
goody bags and contents were quite nice. It was a very positive and enjoyable experience. Jennifer Langton
(Mountain Green Conference Speaker formerly with Habitat for Humanity)

I just wanted to again offer my heartfelt thanks for the warm reception I
received during the Mountain Green Conference.  You and your team did an
incredible job!  I am honored to have had the opportunity to participate and
I hope my presentations helped you accomplish your objectives.  It was a

Great conference! Congratulation on a job well done! We certainly want to be a vendor again. And, I would like to present again too. Based on the standing-room-only in my presentation this time around, it seems like folks were really engaged and wanted to hear more. Isaac Savage, Home Energy Partners
