How you can Do it: Departments stores send a lot of catalogs. Call the companies and tell them to take your name off the mailing list. You can also pay $1 online at Dmachoice.org to have your name removed from national, mass marketing lists. In the future, if you order something from a company, you should ask them not to sell your name and not to put you on their mailing lists.
