Students hit the phones during February and March to raise support for the Warren Wilson College Fund. These gifts are important because they support student scholarships, the work program, and so much more. Phonathon is an exciting time because it is an opportunity for the students to connect with alumni and friends.
Making the call
When our student calls, he or she will update your contact information for our records, share with you campus happenings, and give you the opportunity to support WWC.

The Office of Advancement is now taking applications for student callers to work the “Hoos Calling” Phonathon 2009. Earn a paycheck during your spare time and support the Warren Wilson College Fund. Plus, callers help the College stay in touch with alumi, parents and friends. The Office of Advancement will be taking applications until Dec. 5, 2008 for the event that will take place Feb. 2 – March 5, 2009. Training for the Phonathon will include an evening session during the week of Jan. 26; thereafter, you will choose two evening sessions per week until the close of the Phonathon. This is the perfect way to make some extra money after the holiday season. You can talk to people about the great mission of Warren Wilson and feel good about ensuring enough scholarship money is available for current and future students of our unique school.
