Anne Lee Jardine Scholarship
Mr. William Jardine visited the WWC campus on behalf of his father and was favorably impressed with the College and its mission of educating the whole student through a program of academics, work and service to others. He returned home and advised his father to establish this scholarship, literally days before his death. The earnings from this endowed fund go to help a student from the Appalachian region who plans to return to the region and teach either pre-school or elementary school. The funds are awarded on the basis of merit, but do not exclude need.
