Lunsford Richardson International Student Scholarship
This scholarship fund was established by the trustees of the First Presbyterian Church in Greensboro, NC, whose responsibility it is to disburse the income of a trust established under the will of the late Lunsford Richardson. From 1991-2005, the trustees chose to give these earnings to Warren Wilson College to be used "for whatever purpose the appropriate authorities for (the) institution determine is most fitting." It was decided that the monies be used to establish the Lunsford Richardson International Student Scholarship Endowment Fund. The earnings from this fund go to deserving international students with demonstrated financial need.
