Sallie Mae Fund Scholarship for Business and Economics Majors
The Sallie Mae Fund Endowed Scholarship was established by Mr. Ronald Hunt, a former trustee of Warren Wilson College, and Mr. Alex Porter, a friend of the College. Both of these individuals are also on the board of Sallie Mae, and their gifts were generously matched by the Fund. The scholarships are given to undergraduate students who are enrolled in the college’s Helen Powers Business and Economics Program and who have demonstrated financial need.
