Today,
6-15-99, was an iffy day. It looked like we were going to have to
close up the site all morning long because of rain. But as it turns
out, we were able to avoid it and got a good bit of work done. We
continued our work on square 10R200, and we're real close to having all
of the plowzone off.
Square 40R200, the deep test, was given a good troweling for the official
photographs of the top of level 14.
It looks as if there might be a few features there, and there are definitely
some charcoal concentrations around the rock clusters.
Away from the site things are happening as well.
Our Archaeology Lab is being expanded, and the work on that started today.
When all is done, we should have ample room for storage, better organized
and larger working spaces, and running water.
