The Archaeology Field School was kicked off on Monday, June 12th.  The opening ceremony was attended by Eddie Bushyhead, from the Office of Cultural Resources for the Eastern Band of the Cherokee Indians.
 
 

There was no earth-moving today, but on Tuesday we'll start digging.
Looks like another great season lies ahead of us!
