The field school at the Berry site began in 2001 in cooperation with Western Piedmont Community College. The field school is part of a larger project to study the archaeology of the Upper Catawba Valley. The school integrates students and non-students in many different and fun activities that all contribute to a growing understanding of the history of the Catawba Valley region.
The field school focuses on the archaeology of the Berry site, working together with Western Piedmont Community College, the University of Oklahoma, and Tulane University. For more information please follow the links below and to the left.
