Arlin is a renaissance man. He has been a computer network manager, computer programmer, editor, graphic designer, photographer, programming project manager, and technical support specialist. He has also taught black & white photography, computers, English, music, Photoshop, and Windsurfing. He holds a B.A. degree in philosophy, with a concentration in aesthetics. Currently Arlin runs a photography business called Aesthetic Endeavors, teaches digital image manipulation with Adobe Photoshop at Warren Wilson College and is working toward his Master of Fine Arts degree in photography at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco (on line).
