
Senior Projects I and II
ART 412 is the first of the
two-semester sequence and is always taken in the fall of the senior
year. In this course the student begins the development of a cohesive
body of work. At the end of the semester he or she will present
a portfolio that must be approved by the faculty committee in order
for the student to move on to Senior Project II.
The pre-requisites for Senior Project I are that
the student has completed, with a grade of B- or better, at least
12 credits of his or her studio concentration and has had his or
her essay accepted by the art faculty.
ART 413 is the second course
of the sequence. It is always taken in the spring. During this semester
the student completes the work begun in ART 412 and selects a protion
of this work for the senior exhibition in Holden Gallery.
