September 27 -- The Citadel Invitational -- Women 10th, Men ran as individuals
The Warren Wilson Cross Country team raced at the 28th Annual Citadel Invitational facing off with numerous Division I and II opponents. The fast course saw the women finished in tenth place of the Division II category behind a 17th place finish from junior Chelsea Gay (20:35.62). The rest of the Owls women finished within two minutes of each other led by Kate O'Mara (64th, 24:50.17) and followed by Sarah Fagan (65th, 24:52.43), Aubrey Delone (67th, 25:30.40), Emily Brigham (73rd, 26:15.89), and Ellinor Dillon (74th, 26:21.91). The men, racing as individuals, were led by Charles Biederman's 47th (30:04.75) place finish while Jo Steen (50th, 30:41.13), Phelan O'Connor (59th, 31:22.78), and Michael Jolly (65th, 32:08.63).
September 12 -- Wolfpack Invitational -- Women 6th/12 and Men 7th/14
The Warren Wilson cross country team had an excellent showing at the Wolfpack Invitational at North Carolina State University earning a sixth place finish on the women's side and a seventh place finish for the men. The invitational field included numerous Division I runners and carried some fo the top programs in the country. The women were led by Chelsea Gay's 17th place finish (20:37.00) while Hope Davis (36th, 23:18.00), Sarah Fagan (53rd, 25:21.00), Kate O.Mara (54th, 25:22.00) and Aubrey DeLone (56th, 25:37.00) finished strong. The men were led by Chas Beiderman's (17:38.00) 28th place finish followed by fellow Owls Phelan O'Connor (40th, 18:42.00), Mike Jolly (41st, 18:48) and Tal Gold (42nd, 19:03.00).
