To Get to Our Facilities...
We are very excited for the approaching season and our upcoming matches with you. The easiest route in order to find your way to Warren Wilson College would be to take I-40. -If you are traveling I-40 WEST, take Exit 55. Turn left off the exit and go under the interstate. Go to the first traffic light(at the intersection with US-70/Tunnel Rd), and turn right onto US-70. On US-70, go 1.5 miles until you reach the next traffic light and turn left onto Warren Wilson Road. -If you are traveling on I-40 EAST, take Exit 59. Bear right at the exit and go to the traffic light at the intersection with US-70. Turn left and go about 2 miles until you reach the second traffic light. Turn right on Warren Wilson Road. Travel about 1.5 miles until you reach the campus. Go under the pedestrian bridge and take the next left on Chapel Road, where you will see the Presbyterian Church. Continue up to the left of the chapel and you will approach DeVries Gym. Stay to the right and drive down the hill into the parking lot next to the tennis courts. For your convenience, we will ask you to park behind the building and enter through the doors leading to the locker rooms. **Full size busses- Do NOT make the turn left onto Chapel Road, the incline is too steep, and we've had busses get stuck already this year. Instead, continue for 1-200 feet to the next right at Kittredge theater. Turn around in that parking lot and take a right onto Chapel Road.**
Useful Info...
Visiting teams will have access to a visiting team locker room(no towels available). Also, there will be trainers and a training room offered 1.5 hours before the game. If your team is not traveling with a Certified Athletic Trainer, then you must send all necessary medical supplies with the coaching staff. Water and cups will be available for everyone. Pre-Game Schedule: 60 Minutes- Warm ups begin 12 Minutes- Captains, officials meet/submit rosters 10 Minutes- Team clears court 5 Minutes- Introductions(officials/teams) In the unlikely event of an emergency, Memorial Mission Hospital can be contacted at: (828) 213-1111 Mission Hospital is located at 509 Biltmore Ave., Asheville We hope that you have a fun and safe season and are looking forward to your visit to Warren Wilson!
