City Bus Service Extends to Warren Wilson
The City of Asheville announces expanded bus service to Warren Wilson College and additional areas slated to begin Monday, August 25. In addition to the college, the extension will serve the Asheville Mall, South Tunnel Road, the VA Hospital, and I-40’s exit 55 to U.S. 70. Hourly service will be available 3:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 3:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Friday and 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Saturday.
Also, there is a collaboration between UNC-A's Bulldog Express and Warren Wilson's Route 29! You are now able to ride the Bulldog Express for free by showing your valid Warren Wilson i.d. card! The Bulldog Express stops at the following places: UNCA, Ingles Market, Bean Streets, Orange Peel, Walmart, Carmike, and the Asheville Mall!
