The Career Development Center works with students and alumni who are preparing for the next steps on life's journey. We help students and alumni as they navigate transitions in their quest for meaningful work and service. The Career Development Center helps students to see how knowledge, skills and experience gained through the Triad can transfer to work, educational and service opportunities beyond graduation. The Career Development Center collaborates with faculty, alumni, work crew supervisors, and external organizations to connect people, ideas, opportunities and experiences.

We support the career development process through services that:

  • Enhance self-awareness of interests, values and talents
  • Encourage exploration of future paths
  • Provide opportunities to acquire knowledge and experience
  • Develop skills for effective self-presentation

Clearness Committees

Clearness Committees are an excellent tool for students working through big questions, like "What should I major in?", "What do I want to do after graduation?", or "Which of these two opportunities should I accept?" Clearness Committees are based on the belief that we each have the answer within ourselves and sometimes need help hearing that voice. The process utilizies trained students to ask open and honest questions of the focus person wrestling with their decision. To learn more about Clearness Committees, please email clearness@warren-wilson.edu.

To request a committee, please complete this form.
