Sophomore Externship Program
Externship Field Experience Seminar
You will register Term 3 for an Externship Field Experience Seminar (1 credit) which will allow you to process the experience and address topics such as:
ü Self-assessment
ü Vocation discernment
ü Career research
ü Professional etiquette
ü Assessing competencies
ü Assessing values
ü Communication skills
ü Personal and company mission
ü Vision statements
ü Resume Writing
ü Ethics
Your FIRST assignment for the class will be to write a thank-you note to your externship sponsor and to all individuals at the externship site who you interviewed or with whom you worked. Failure to do this will result in failure of the course.
