Some employers will require you submit a copy of your unofficial transcript as part of the application process. The transcript is considered unofficial because you have access to the document and can edit the contents. Since most applications are submitted online or through email you will need to create an electronic version of your unofficial transcript.
• OPTION 1: Scan a Printed Copy of an Unofficial Transcript
1. Obtain a printed copy of your unofficial transcript from the Office of the Registrar (give the Registrar 3-5 days to prepare your document.
2. Use a scanner to convert the printed document into a PDF
• OPTION 2. Cut and paste your unofficial transcript from Campus Web onto a Microsoft Word Document.
Official Transcripts
Official Transcripts must be obtained from the Office of the Registrar. The official transcript can be picked up by you or mailed directly to you, to an employer, or to a graduate school. A $5 fee is charged for each official transcript requested, and payment should accompany the written request.
