+There are 3 Presidentally Appointed Task Forces. These positions are not elected, but chosen. If you have interest in one of these, please fill out an ‘application to run’ form and we’ll pass it along to. Task Forces need students too.

Co-Conveners are the facilitators of Caucus. Co-Conveners are responsible for ensuring that Caucus upholds its mission. Co-Conveners work both with students and administration, often serving as a vital communication link between the two bodies. Specific responsibilities include facilitating weekly meetings of Caucus (including setting the agenda, facilitating the discussion and maintaining accurate minutes), maintaining an open-door office, meeting regularly with administrators, staff, and faculty, organizing community meetings, and setting student governance priorities.
Candidates should have a knowledge of and interest in the governance process. If not already involved with Caucus, candidates are encouraged to attend a Caucus meeting and/or come speak to the current Co-Co’s.
Student Trustee
The Student Trustee is the voice of the Student Body at the three annual Board of Trustee meetings. As such, it is the obligation of the Student Trustee to be knowledgeable about issues of concern to the campus and to effectively advocate for the Student Body before the Trustees. In order to promote cooperation and communication, the Student Trustee will collaborate closely with the Co-Conveners and Administrative Council members. Following the meetings of the Board of Trustees, the Student Trustee shall report to Caucus. The Student Trustee is expected to attend weekly Caucus meetings during his/her tenure. If a candidate is not a voting member at the time of the election, she/he must attend at least two meetings before the election and make their intent to run known to Caucus. For more information talk to the Co-Co’s or Ryan Morra, the current student trustee.
