Deacons
The word "deacon" comes from a Greek word meaning "servant." Accordingly, in our congregation the deacons minister to those who are in need, to the sick, the friendless, and to those who may be in grief or distress. The Diaconate works to demonstrate, by their love of our members and by the quality of their life, the new reality in Christ; sharing in worship, fellowship, support, and nurture, and practicing a deepening life of prayer and service under the guidance of God's Spirit.
