The course is offered as part of WWC’s Fine Woodworking Program and taught by local fine woodworkers, Jason Dingess and Michael Waldeck.
This workshop begins at 4:00PM on September 13th with an introductory lecture and demo, followed by an informal complimentary barbecue at the shop. Saturday morning, work begins making your own handplane. The limit of ten attendees assures personal attention by our two experienced instructors, as well as your own bench space. All materials for the plane will be provided, which includes a new Ron Hock “state of the art” plane blade and chip breaker. Lunch is available for purchase at the Warren Wilson Cafeteria a short walk from the woodworking shop.
