See below the two proposals for which Emerging Leader feedback is requested. You may return to these sites to submit comments and to view others comments until Sunday, May 10th.

Proposal One: Fostering Community through Retention
- Working directly with Admission
- Addressing "image" of Wilson/slogan
- Work directly with First Year Programming
- Create larger discussion on why people leave
- Create small groups each addressing an issue of student life to address, such as 1) more clubs, organizations other than work crews, and 2) community building evening activities
- Survey incoming first year students/transfers
Proposal Two: Perpetuating Community Leadership Using the Social Change Model
- Educate ourselves on the intricacies of the Social Change Model
- Host training on the Social Change Model that will be open to all students and faculty on campus
- Establish groups out of the attending students and faculty that will be led by teams of Emerging Leaders. These groups will create or implement some form of action related to a community-based issue.
- Help groups fulfill their goals by using the Social Change Model to do so.
- Following completion of plan, host community dinner or gathering to share what was accomplished, how it was accomplished, and where to go from there.

After Sunday's meeting, we will take a final vote on Zoomerang, allowing time for everyone to consider their preferred path. Hopefully, we'll be able to make an announcement during the transition program on Wednesday evening, May 5th.
