The horse crew consists of four students, two Belgians. In the spring and fall we work under the supervision of Jim Price, discing, harrowing and plowing the garden. In addition to tillage, the horses provide manure to enrich the garden's compost. In the winter months we spend most of our time logging with the forestry crew. We also work in the farm crew's cattle pastures to drag cattle manure to benefit the soil. We give wagon rides at campus events year round.
