Immunizations Recommended for: WWC
- Chile: Hepatitis A or immune globulin (IG), Rabies vaccine if you might be exposed to wild or domestic animals, Typhoid, and as needed, booster doses for tetanus-diphtheria and measles
- Peru: Hepatitis A or immune globulin (IG), Hepatitis B if you might be exposed to blood, have sexual contact with local population, stay > than 6 months in the region, or be exposed through medical treatment, rabies if you might be exposed to wild or domestic animals, typhoid if you are visiting developing countries in this region
- India: Hepatitis A or immune globulin, Hepatitis B as described above, Japanese encephalitis only if you plan to visit rural areas for 4 or more weeks or if known outbreak, Rabies if you might e exposed, Typhoid, as needed booster doses for tetanus-diphtheria and measles an d a one time dose of polio for adults.
- New Zealand: Hepatitis A or immune globulin, Rabies if you might be exposed to wild or domestic animals, as needed booster doses for tetanus-diphtheria and measles and a one-time dose of polio for adults.
