Library of Congress – A goldmine of information! Includes neat stuff like the
American Memory Collection (historical documents, photos, movies, and
sound recordings) and online exhibitions. In the "Research Tools" section, check out the Country Studies (detailed info on over 70
countries) and the Global Legal Information Network (laws of over 35
countries). You can also access their library catalog.
THOMAS, Congressional info – Search for the full text of bills, laws, etc.

North Carolina Data Center (LINC) – the most valuable Web resource for NC statistical data. Covers areas such as: population and housing,

North Carolina ECHO (Exploring Cultural Heritage Online) – a doorway to the special collections of North
Carolina's libraries, archives, and museums.
North Carolina General Assembly – Information on the House and Senate, including up-to-date reports
