Find Library Books

Use our catalog to find books, videos, CDs, etc.
Use our list of e-books to find electronic books.

View a sample of our library books.

Just so you know:
Reference books contain overviews of a range of topics.
Regular books usually present more focused treatments of a subject.
Electronic books can be viewed or checked out online.
Books in other libraries can be found by searching WorldCat, the MOTHER of all catalogs!

To get books from other libraries, request them through interlibrary loan.

You can also check out books from other libraries, including the public library system and UNC-Asheville. Ask a WWC librarian for a borrower's card.

Find Articles

Use Articles & Databases to find articles.
Go to Journal Finder to see if we have the journal you want.

Just so you know: finding an article can involve up to three steps, but sometimes you can skip the second or third step.

Step 1. Find citations by searching Articles & Databases. If the citation includes the full-text or image, you can get the article right away. If not, go to Step 2.

Step 2. Find the journal cited by searching Journal Finder. If we have the journal you need, get your article from the source. If not, go to Step 3.

Step 3. Request the article from another library through Interlibrary Loan.
