To get
articles from journals or magazines which
our library doesn't have, fill out the online
Interlibrary Loan Article Request Form.
Allow an average of 1 week for delivery. Complete and accurate information on the
form helps speed up the order process. You will be notified when the
article arrives or if there is a problem with your request. Articles will be
held for pickup at the Circ Desk. You may also go to the library which has the journal and copy the article
yourself. To see if the journal is
available at UNCA's Ramsey Library or at Asheville-Buncombe Library System
(the local public library system), check the journal title in their online catalogs.
Use the same process to request books from other libraries. Fill
out the online request form available from within WorldCat. Search for your item, and once you find it, click on "Request this item from another library." It
can take anywhere from 1-3 weeks to arrive.
Generally, libraries do not loan videos.
WWC students, staff and faculty may get borrower cards for using MCLN
libraries and the UNC-A library at our library's Reference Desk. You can get
a library card for the local public library system at any of their branches.
