Adele Holevas

Adele Holevas joined the Warren Wilson Music Department as staff accompanist several years ago and has enjoyed every moment working with vocal and instrumental students in a variety of musical genre. From art songs to folk songs, from beginners to advanced, the pleasure of helping students learn to make music in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere is a unique opportunity for this "retired" musician. Adele taught for many years in the music department at Phillips Exeter Academy and was Music Director in an Episcopal church in the northeast. She holds an Ed.M. degree from Harvard University, and Ch.M, A.A.G.O. certificates from the American Guild of Organists. On occasional Sundays she plays for Warren Wilson Sunday morning chapel services. Her musical life at Warren Wilson is a rich and satisfying experience and she appreciates the eagerness that the students bring to their musical explorations.
