Beginning Voice Class provides an opportunity for students to support each other in their vocal training by doing warm-ups together, singing together and performing individually. The atmosphere of the class is non-threatenin--and even fun! Each student prepares a folk song, an art song, and either a musical theater piece or a jazz standard. By the end of the semester, students gain confidence, cheering each other on and usually wanting to move on to Applied Voice.
