The Warren Wilson College Instrumental Ensemble is devoted to the study, interpretation, and performance of a variety of repertoire. It is open to all students by audition and may be used as partial fulfillment of the Triad Education Artistic Expression course requirement. Previous study and performance on an orchestral instrument is required.
Students participating in the course will develop ensemble skills through critical listening, technical skills on individual instruments, further sight reading ability, and enhance the overall musicianship of the individual.
