Kittredge Music Wing
The Music Resource Center, located in the Kittredge Music Wing, provides and maintains the music class-rooms, practice rooms, multi-media stations, ?loaner? instruments, and the Music Library for the benefit of students, staff, and faculty of Warren Wilson College.
The Music Library is the college?s treasure chest of music-books, sheet music, and audio-recordings (CD?s, Tapes, and LP?s). The quiet atmosphere and friendly service makes it an ideal location for students to study, listen to rare recordings, and research music while the muffled sound from the practice rooms provide an ambience that can only be described as "unique."

Practice Rooms are available for use by all Warren Wilson College students, faculty, and staff during normal building hours (students may be given access to practice rooms after normal hours with permission from Milton Crotts, Warren Gaughan, or Steve Williams). There are seven individual practice rooms on the second floor of the building, each equipped with its own piano. These rooms are well lit with large windows that look out over the art buildings. There are two large practice rooms downstairs that remain available for student use throughout the day, and a multi-use room with a grand piano, plenty of seats, and wall-to-ceiling shag carpeting--ideal for large groups
Audio/Visual Lounge
The Music Resource Center now boasts the addition of the Audio/Visual Lounge to the Music Department. With a state-of-the-art sound system, complete with a large-screen high-definition television and CD, DVD, VHS capability, students can experience musical recordings and videos in surround sound. While primarily set up for music classes, the Music Crew offers students to use the audio/visual lounge during regular Music Library hours.
Audio Listening Stations Several Audio stations are available for music library patrons to use during Music Library hours, complete with tape, record, and CD players.

MONDAY 8 AM-9:30 AM; 11 AM-2:30 PM; 3-4 PM; 6-10 PM
TUESDAY 8 AM-12:30 PM; 1-5:30 PM; 6-10 PM
WEDNESDAY 8 AM-9:30 AM; 10:30 AM-2:30 PM; 6-10 PM
THURSDAY 8 AM-10 PM
FRIDAY 1: 8-9:30 AM; 11 AM-12:30 PM; 1-2:30 PM; 3-5 PM
