Cloud Spillage over the Craggy
Mountains - Photo by
Donald Collins
Looking
east at
the Craggy Mountains from College View area near Warren Wilson College,
this interesting cloud formation was noticed on Sunday, Aug. 22,
2004.. A strong, foggy wind was blowing from the far side of the
mountain ridge blowing the fog up the mountain up and over the
ridge. The fog can be seen descending down the lee side of the
mountain on the visible side, like a waterfall. Click here to see a time-lapse motion picture
